Accessibility

What Plenishly offers for people with disabilities, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Plenishly should work for everyone, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have limited movement, or have learning, cognitive or neurological differences. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We have not had an outside audit, and parts of Plenishly may not fully meet that standard yet.

1. What you can change

In Profile, then Accessibility, you can change these settings. They apply at once and are saved on your device:

  • Text size: standard, large or larger
  • High contrast: darker text and stronger borders
  • Reduce motion: stops animations and transitions. We also follow your device's own reduced-motion setting
  • More reading space between lines, letters and words
  • Always underline links
  • Larger buttons and fields

2. Built in

  • A Skip to main content link for keyboard and screen reader users
  • A visible focus outline on everything you can tab to
  • Labels and roles for controls so screen readers can announce them
  • Pages that work at larger text sizes and on small screens
  • Notices that are announced to screen readers

3. Work in progress

Some things may not work well yet, such as some images without descriptions, some third-party tools we embed (payment forms, maps, video players), and creator-made documents and videos that were not made accessible. Creators are asked to follow accessibility basics, and we will ask them to fix problems we find.

4. Tell us

If something does not work for you, or you need information in another form, email accessibility@plenishly.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what device or assistive technology you use. We reply within 5 business days and will work with you on a fix or another way to get what you need.
